Power Commander
you don't have to go through dynojet to get a cable, you probably have one lying around the house that fits already. should be able to download the manual and the software from the pc web site. just jump in with both feet and you'll be swimming in no time
you can do lots of 'looking' without actually changing anything, and learn a lot in the process.
yeah, thats what folks have been saying for years. but if he has a pc and his bike is running fine, then that don't mean doo doo....

There's one other issue with the PCIII that needs to be addressed. To read and transfer maps tethered to a computer it needs a 9V power supply, which requires the proprietary 9V battery harness.
Just turn the bike on while connected to the computer.
i forgot about that thing. i may still have the one from my old 07 lying around if the op needs it. i'll look for it tomorrow.
Like he said, don't need the 9v battery if you turn the bike on.
A suggestion: You can always save the current map that's on your bike to your computer. That way you'll have a backup map in case you have an 'oopsie'.

yeah, if you've got a computer that can be taken out to your bike, or a very loooooong usb cord
My thoughts exactly.
