The tune will need to be changed if you upgrade cams. I don't know the procedure for dialing it in with the FP, but the PCV would definitely work, and Fuel Moto would have a map for your combo.

I have em in my 107. The bike pulls like a freight train right up to the rev limit. Maybe I could get more out of a different cam. Maybe not. I'm happy at 96/114 that I have using the 255s.

I built my motor out to 107, raised the compression and am running Woods tw8 cams. The bike pulls quite a bit harder than it did at 103 with se204 cams, the 107 is a very good motor for the touring bikes.

I'm a proponant of running the right cam for the motor. The 255 cams would be on my short list for a 96 motor, but would be way, way down the list for a 103 motor. And that's assuming you're starting from a stock 103, if I was building up a 103 from a 96, the 255 cams wouldn't even be on the list. If you're building up a 103 (or better yet, a 107), there's a whole lot of performance cams available that would deliver a lot more than the 255s.

I'm trying not to get into replacing the throttle body or injectors. My friend's street glide runs preety decent with the 103/255 combo.Thats all i can go buy.I'm also thinking about the Fuel Moto 107 kit also.

I bumped mine up to a 103 at 62,000 km or 38,000 miles. Running with the 255's, true duals, SE Race Tuner, and monster ovals. Added a Barnett clutch and SE compensator in the spring of this year. The bike is a lot of fun to ride under any condition. You will not be disappointed and it will be easier on the pocketbook than buying a new bike.

Im FM latest tests there was too little to gain with the larger throttle body to justify it. Same gains could be made with some runner work. FWIW

I agree with soft '02; no need for anything bigger than a 50mm TB and the 4.35 injectors on a 103 or a 107 unless you plan on spinning it to 7000 rpm's.

I'll send my stocker off to be cleaned up this winter when the crank comes out but I'm not even considering upsizing.

I am not sure what i will do when i get to the point to which i need a new motor or upgrade...FM 107 kit is nice upgrade but if i have well over 100k on the current engine i don't know if the crank would be reliable to do such upgrades or should i just start all fresh...I guess it would be little insurance to have a new crank in it...That is way down the road though....
