That's crazy, I have a Ram 3500, there is no way I would ever try to jump it off my bike, maybe the other way around, takes two batteries to turn that diesel over. Did the guy have red eyes and maybe a strange smell?
I guess he thought 12 volts is 12 volts. I agree he must have been desperate to have even asked. I hooked an ATV to a diesel tractor on our hunting lease and let it charge for awhile
Didnt crank the tractor with it hooked up though. It worked in a pinch, but I would have declined also.
