But I already feel I'm looking for half the stuff the Ultra has.

Tour Pak with backrest, not necessarily with speakers because I'd like to have rear speakers with tour pak removed.

Auxiliary lights (passing lights)

Passenger floor boards

Different windshield

Low fairing wind deflectors.

Might be a few more things I can't think of right now.

Monthly payment was the #1 reason I chose the Street Glide. Coming in a close 2nd wad the sleek look of Street Glide.

Should I have just got the Ultra?
Congrats on the Street Glide.Forget about buyers remorse.Be happy with what you got.You can always add accessories as you go.I know someone who purchased a 35k Road Glide CVO and is constantly complaining. He thought by dropping that money, he was done.
Most of the items you mentioned, are reasonable priced and can be easily purchased and installed.
I went through the same thing back in 2009 when I purchased my Street Glide, I should of bought that Ultra, EG classic, Road Glide.Fast Forward 3 years and thousands of dollars later, My Street Glide fits my riding style. You make the bike fit you.Just about every year, Harley changes something and it becomes a must have.Damn, I should of got that water cooled 120" engine, wow, that comes with a procharger, turbo, nitrous, look at that paint job, etc.etc.The list never ends.......Buy the bike....Make it yours....

Perfect answer - give this member a shot of whatever he wants!!!

Every 2-up passenger add-on I purchased for my FLHX is hanging on garage wall collecting dust. No need for the added weight - you made the right choice!

I traded a 2010 Ultra Limited for a 2012 Screamin' Eagle Street Glide. I was not taking many long rides and the Ultra Limited just felt too big and top heavy for the riding I was doing, which was all done solo. I have a Mustang solo seat on the Street Glide and a solo luggage rack for my day to day riding. In hindsight I would have spent less money if I had purchased a Street Glide in 2010.
