I was under the impression that a person should take the Xieds off if they were to add a tuner to the bike after a stage one upgrade.

I have a set sitting on the shelf and am willing to try anything to get rid of some of the pinging I am getting. I have been "tweaking" my power vision to get the bike to run correctly but it seems like no matter what I do the pinging will not go away.

if your talkin to me...stock cleaner cover with back side removed & a K&N, exhaust is stock head pipe (decatted) with 3.5" rush slip-ons & 2.5" baffles.
dealer installed the stage one down load.

but the more i think about it i think its bad gas cause ive riddin the same roads & about the same ambient temps before with the radio almost off & no pinging then.
