Default Decided it was time for something bigger

After 4 years and 30000 miles on my 2008 FXDC, I decided it was time to upgrade to something a little bigger. So I traded in my bike for a new Road Glide Ultra. Took delivery of it today at lunch and proceeded to put 250 miles on it this afternoon. Couldn't be happier

Congrat's- nice bike.

Once you have lockable hard bags, a stereo, and cruise control, it's hard to go back.

Thanks!!

Yeah it didn't take to long to love having a radio on the bike. Cruise control is great. I can't believe all the storage on the bike. Looking forward to a long trip on the bike.

Wow! Pretty much did the same thing on Saturday. Traded my '08 FXDC with 31,617 miles in on a Electra Glide Ultra Classic. As of today she has 570 miles on her. Cruise control is sweet and next month my little brother (who just TODAY picked up a new Electra Glide Classic!) are taking a trip from Canada to Mexico along the coast hi-way. Can't wait to get started!

What a shitty bike, you must hate it.. I totally understand, you can ship it to me and I will dispose of it for you

Nice upgrade man, I am jealous. I really like those new road glide ultras..

When I first clicked on this thread, I was thinking to myself "Wow, another batwing, how surprising (sarcastic voice). Let's see him talk about how he is gonna make it look so much different from all the other batwings that all look so much different but still look the same". Then I see that you bought a Road Glide and now im saying "wow, he actually didnt buy a batwing? thats gotta be the first one in a long time!". Anyways, congrats on the new bike and THANK YOU for doing something a little different for a change. Happy Riding!!
