+1 on the POS Stage 1 flash with slip-ons. Gurgled and popped annoyingly on decel and generally sounded subpar. Couldn't wait to get a full system on and the bike tuned properly.
I wanted a chrome tac and speedo on my sporty. Ordered genuine Harley upgrade kit from a reputable Harley dealer. The POS came in a genuine Harley box with the crappest chrome job I had ever seen with little stickers all over it that said MADE IN CHINA or some shlt. Keep shipping our jobs over seas Harley.
4" Rinehart Slip On Mufflers. Rattling pieces of Crap! Can not get the rattles to stop, sounds like chains dragging behind me. Ive tried everything to quieten them down and stop the rattles. Before it starts...Rinehart was of no help whatsoever.
I've got a set bolted up to V&H dual head pipes and they sound great.
I'm really surprised your having any issues and even more surprised Rinehart hasn't addressed the issue for ya.
J and P cycles mirrors, made cheap and one fell off due to poor mounting. I ordered Arlen Ness replacements.
That's funny. I ordered some Chinese Ness mirrors from JP for my Wife's bike. One was clear, the other was smoked glass. Returned it to JP, they sent me a new pair, same problem. Ordered from a different vendor, told the salesperson my problem and requested that they check it before shipping them. They arrived with the same problem. I gave up. Told Wifey to pick a different mirror.
That's really too bad that most of you don't realize that much of Kuryakyn and HD items are made by the same manufacturer, just different packaging.
Kuryakyn will most of the time stand behind it's products, no questions asked.
Try that with an HD product w/out a receipt even @ your local dealer, even though they know that you bought it there shop and see what you get.
