Problem with this is: you have to have the store bought source to do it.

Any tips for downloaded music ??

I can't speak to the quality of the handlebar control adapters that Hawg Wired makes, I know someone who posted before me had a low opinion of them, but as far as their mounting cradle and front bezel (about 135 bucks) I love mine and have for the last 6 years.

IMHO the cradle allows the DIN case to be attached at the front providing more support but also at the back too where their is usually a small stud at the back of the radio. That stud allows the back of the radio to be mounted securely to the cradle

The more mounting points the better in my book
I also like the O ring seals around the bezel

At 75mph my ears can't tell any noticeable difference. I prefer the wireless convenience with my 32GB iPhone.

peculiarboy:$50 bucks doesnt seem all that bad...i had looked at the biketronics website and never saw that particular kit.As far as the "manual" is concerned,i was hoping to ask someone on here for a wiring diagram...this is probably the only job i would feel comfortable doing on my own. Thanks!!

I don't want anyone to misunderstand what I said earlier. When I said the Hawg Wired speaker adapter ring is junk, the ring is all I was talking about. I have their handlebar control adapter and that works fine, I'm not sure I like the open face part of it, but it works fine. The face plate bezel is nice, probably the best you will find. The mounting bracket is also a good product. I don't know about their speakers, I've never used those.

Can't help with downloaded content, most of it is crap that has been ripped out low bit rates. I have a box FULL of CD's, somewhere near 1200 of 'em. My personal audio collection is stupid. My favorite songs eat the iPod nano for breakfast.

As for what you can hear at 75MPH, well there's plenty of time I am cruising around town and I want to hear a nice clean song, music the way it was meant to be heard.
