Does it affect your lean angle degree? might consider one if it does not impair tight turns or tight curves.
I have one on 05' Ultra, fast easy install, works great, and for washing put a piece of plywood under it too to allow easier wheel cleaning...oh ya back to the question : i have scraped it on tight turns loaded with two up but only faint, and it is solid so no worries, it looks like its factory install, also i think i can get a few onces of fuel into the tank too, if not more room at the pump when riding with my wife and her bike.
I have one, you can drag it if you try, mine shows the effects. You can drag it on a speed bump too if you go over one too quick. I also found that as the tire wears it is harder to get the bike off of the stand. That said, I like the stand a lot, and use it practically exclusively.
Ditto,
I've ground the the corners of mine, 2 up and solo. all but the smallest speed bumps are to be avoided at all cost. I am considering removal for the Dragon.
Considering those factors , I do recommend it. effortless mounting for your passenger and drive off.
I have a 2012 Limited, and considering purchasing an EZ-UP. My buddy has one on his stock 2010 Ultra, so I wanted to try before I buy.
I could not get the bike on the stand. I read the posts here on how easy it is to use. I see the videos on You-Tube where the bike rider does it with ease. My buddy is a "big" guy, prob 6'2" and 220 lbs. He has no issues.
I am vertically challenged...5'9" on a good day and 175. I got the bike to rock back, but not enough to engage the stand. We were on fairly level ground, but could not get it on the stand.
Anyone else have this issue? Am I just too short to gain leverage?
I'm 5'8" and I have no problem getting mine on the center stand. It is technique. Keep trying and when you do it one time, you will have it. Good Luck.
I'm 5'6" and weigh just over 150 pounds. I finally got the nerve today to try and raise the bike while sitting on it. I couldn't believe how easy it was. Seems like it popped up by itself. Far easier than standing on the side and trying to do it. I left the jiffy stand down just in case it got away from me. Great product from a reputable vendor.
