Alarm siren timeout?
Morning all,
I have thesecurity siren on my 06 Ultra. My question is, if the siren fully activates will it timeout after a while or sound off until it is reset with the key fob? Thanks.

On my 06 it will timeout if it detects just a bit of movement but if it detects alot of movement like if you stand the bike up it will go off and you have to turn it off with your fob.

And does the HD Siren II system run off the scoot's battery or its own internal battery???

Etymology: perhaps akin to German dialect Fuppe pocket
1 : WATCH POCKET
2 : a short strap, ribbon, or chain attached especially to a pocket watch
3 : an ornament attached to a fob chain

BTW the siren will time out after about 30 seconds and then reset. It does run off the main battery but has its own battery backup in case the main power supply is cut.

Thanks for the answer folks. Where I park my bike at work, I would not be able to hear the siren. It is parked in a secure, motorcycle-only area, but still didn't want it to be screaming all day. Thanks again.
