I have ran two car tires (on the back) and have been happy with them.
I have a new to me 07 Ultra that have a new back tire so it will be a while till I need a new tire.
What I am looking for is the car tires people have been happy with.
I like the tread pattern on the left and right side to be mirror images of each other.

I have extensively researched this and it looks like the favorite is Austone taxi tire. Have not tried it yet but will be soon when my Elites wear out. https://www.universaltire.com/dunlop...axi-black.html
BTW good luck with this thread not turning into a debate, Just ignore them as they can not help themselves. Don't know why folks want to give unsolicited opinions on things they know nothing about. Just the nature of forums I guess. I am sure there will be a naysayer along any minute now.

I personally have not tried the CT but followed thread on a Kaw forum. The Goodyear triple tread seemed to have positive comments.
It's been a while since I was on that forum so I hope I am correct that it is Goodyear

I think you are going to be very limited on your choices with a pre 09 bike. 09 and later can use up to a 205 which is what I have on mine. I don't know if the comtrac is still available but that and the austone are the only ones I know about.
