It works as advertise. Have it on my bike. Going to be putting cams here soon and the Cobra tech said it will adjust. That's all I want. It rides like bat out of hell now so the cams should wake it up a little

The Power Pro only does two things. It increased AFR when accelerating and during cruising it will detect surging and smooth it out.

I prefer the less expensive FI2000R - 02. It will provide a lower AFR across the rpm range so it operates when cruising. It equates to adding a bigger jet in a carb. It adds as much pep as the PRO and will run the engine cooler when cruising not just accelerating.

I run them in 3 TC96's and a TC103. Will be installing one on the TC110.

Very easy install and my oldest unit was installed in late 06.

The 96" motor seems to run very hot on the legs stock, and with the Harley "maps". How much cooler does it run with this cobra now? Anyone actually put one on a dyno to see what the actual air fuel ratio is coming out of the exhaust?

I installed the PowerPro on my 01 (MM injected) with just a set of 510G cams. Indy told me there was no need to change it when i did the Big Bore, 575 cams and head work unless i was planning on racing ( i'm not). That was 5000 miles ago and i'm still getting 38 to 42 mpg 2-up on 2 lane roads and 46 to 48 solo. Power is good and bike still runs fairly cool in these 100+ degree days.

I am biased since I had two bad units back to back. Bodean46 and I have very similar bikes and I am not sure why his worked and mine did not.

In the end I know two people personally that have one and it works great for them. I gather I just got the bad end twice and gave up. Was offered a 3rd and decided it wasn't worth it. Not with a big ride coming up.

Overall when it did work it worked great.

I got a bad unit and I didnt give it a second chance. Read what PowerVision does, it does so much more and really is a no brainer. Good luck to you.

Default Do NOT buy one!

I am so P1$$d off at Cobra right now. Over the weekend I installed the new Fi2000 Power Pro on my 2010 Ultra Classic. I purchased the product on ebay and there is the problem (from Cobra’s perspective anyway). Cobra will NOT support any product without the receipt or one purchased on ebay! Why...? What difference does it make where I purchased this piece of crap? They made it… I was stupid enough to buy it… apparently they have so many problems with it they can’t even afford time for a phone conversation to figure out why my mileage dropped from about 40-42 mpg to 30-31 as soon as I installed it? The guy who answered the tech support phone said 10 mpg is typical…. Are you kidding me, a 25% decrease in mileage is typical? I screwed up big time buying this piece of garbage and I wish I had known how this so called “tech support” would use any excuse not to try and figure out why they can’t make it work. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Sorry to hear you're having problems, but did you really think a company would support a product purchased on Ebay? That's like buying from some guy on the street, as far as many companies are concerned. Aside from the mileage how does the bike run? My mileage has dropped also, I've been riding two up and twisting the throttle a lot so that may be affecting my mileage also. I'm still trying to get accurate numbers, I'd be OK with a combined 35 or so. Fact is, the more gas goes into the injectors the lower the mileage will be, I just hope I do better that 31!

Exactly. Been down the eBay road ans learned my lesson. There are VERY few dealers that will offer a warranty on eBay purchases. As for the mileage mine only dropped about 2mpg. BUT I don't get on the throttle or go 90mpg either. I bought a bagger not a crotch rocket.

To tell you the truth, I don’t think it should matter if a product was purchased on ebay or on the moon, the buyer should have at least a basic level of support. I wasn’t asking them to replace the unit, I simply wanted to ask some questions about improving its performance. I was told they would Fax me a form to fill out (identifying where purchased) and if approved, they would have a tech call me back.

I do technical support for the company I work for. I would never deny help to someone wanting to improve how my product is used. I treat my customers like I would want to be treated and I cannot believe the stupidity of any company that does not subscribe to that mentality. For instance, how much money did it cost Cobra in their advertising budget before I decided to purchase their product? Now consider the cost in lost sales this post can do by honestly reporting to other potential buyers treatment like I received from them. Would anyone with the brain power over an ameba buy something that is maybe (a) not quite up to the advertised claims, or (b) may not be completely supported if you do have a problem? I can tell you one thing for sure… It will be a very cold day in hell before I ever purchase another Cobra product. Period!
