i bought this when doing my painted inner fairing and WO575 replacement. well worth it to me. i know you can make a home made one, but this did the trick perfectly. jobs always go better when you have the right tools. can't count all the frustrating times i said "i wish i had the right tool for this...." and spent many more hours than necessary.

I know this works,but it is really a waste of money. Once you remove the switch cover, you can just put the ignition switch back together and use it. Put the black plastic piece and the metal piece back on, then hand tighten the nut, put the spring on and insert the switch. Use it till you get ready to reassemble and then remove for reassembly. This works for me and cost nothing.
