Great first trip
We went to outer banks..in fact our daughter got married there on the beach. we rented a house for the week on the beach called "Motorcycle Mama's"...had a great time. Did you go to Duck and see the wild horses?
I LOVE the Outer Banks! We take a family vacation there every year (last 17 years for me, wife has been going since she was a kid). Would love to ride the bike down but can't because I have to carry to much crap since the entire family goes. I do have a tee-shirt from the HD dealership though! Glad you had a good time.

The saddlebags were packed pretty tight along with the small soft tour pack, we are going to get another bigger soft tour pack, we were gone for 4 days. I found it helps to travel this way, the wife can't buy a lot of stuff because it won't fit on the bike, lol. We would like to find a group that tours together, we really enjoy this and plan on doing it a lot more.

My mother has a house right before you get to Corola, Ocean Sands, we are going back for Outer Banks bike fest the end of September. We had a great time and are planning more trips.
