Default Great first trip
Just back from our first trip on our new to us 99 EG Standard, we went to the Outer Banks in NC, had a great time and are already planning another trip. Bike ran perfect the whole time, we would love to be able to find some other people to travel with on bikes.

Buddy and I do a lot of riding in SW Va. Plenty of great rides there.

The saddlebags were packed pretty tight along with the small soft tour pack, we are going to get another bigger soft tour pack, we were gone for 4 days. I found it helps to travel this way, the wife can't buy a lot of stuff because it won't fit on the bike, lol. We would like to find a group that tours together, we really enjoy this and plan on doing it a lot more.

I went down (from md) to holden beach a few weeks ago...once you get past richmond its a great ride...at the end of aug. I am going to be riding down to kittyhawk...I've never been there before but they tell me its nice...

Problem with groups is that folks are on different scheduals...We travel with one maybe two couples... It takes time to meet people that are on your same time-frame...With just the guys its different,,, when the gals are along it changes the hole dynamics!!!
