I just get a kick out of people on here complaining about $12 HD oil! Now just for reference I use Amsoil but $12 oil jeezzee! I bet most on here waste more money a day on booze!
As long as it is the correct weight and to comply with your manual you can use deseil or motorcyle oil. both have higher levels of zinc and other metals that rpotect your engine. so any brand is fine...as long as it is motorcycle or desiel oil.
Really? So if it doesn't have a motorcycle or big truck on the bottle my bikes gonna blow up. Someone better tell those guys using castrol auto 20w-50 their bikes aren't gonna work anymore.
You know the guys, with 100000 miles on their bikes already and NOT using motorcycle oil.
Motorcycle specific oils were developed for shared sump bikes, not Harleys. So ANY 20w-50,changed at regular intervals will lead to many, many reliable miles.
You don't need a motorcycle specific oil. A fool and his money are soon parted
