Default Limp Mode, My Fix

Was on way home from trip. Milwaukee- Seattle- PCH to San Francisco- to Scottsdale- Home.
Southern Illinois encountered a problem. Exiting interstate off ramp, at the stop sign it happened to me. Limp mode.... ****.
After diagnosing a broken wire at plug entering throttle body with under an 1/8 inch of wire exposed, here is my fix.
First pic shows the ring installed, second pic shows how I used wire ties to keep ring on the small wire and from loosing the ring in case it came off. Yes I made it home like this!
Needless to say carry a small key ring with you in case this happens to you. Small ring is from my security pager. Also highly recommend to have zip ties and electrical tape.

So, you wrapped the broken wire around the ring to make a connection....right?

You are very resourceful!

Thanks for the pat on the back.
Just washed the bike dried the bike and held in place.

Going to ride it to the dealership today and see when they can put all new ends on that go into the plug. My thought is if one goes, the rest can't be far behind.
