Hockey fan here, too. I call it a puck myself at times. Used to go to the Panther games when lived in S. FL. Actually went with some Wings fans as there are alot of MI folks in S. Fl.

Safety cord

Does anyone know of a safety cord/device to use as a backup in case the quick release j-nuts fail? Rode 03' RK for 10 years without any problems. Lost left saddlebag on my 12' RK yesterday when both J-bolts came loose. Checked both bags before 225 mile trip. Came off 5 miles from destination. Maybe loctite is the answer.

I have my iron bags on with sst bolts & fender washer, one hex head and one allen head each side. never get loose, you need 2 wrenches and a few minutes to remove them.
