I didn't like the fit of the HD transitions or Wiley's. Cant see spending alot on the inferno's if i cant try them first. I'm going with Oakley wind jackets, comes with clear and dark lenses, foam pads, optional strap, extra nose pieces, cloth, and soft vault for storage.

I have always been told to not wear polarized lenses while riding due to it skewing your view by messing with your depth perception and masking oil spots in the road. Does anyone have any issues with them or any experience?

My eyecare insurance covers one pair of frames a year at no charge (up to $150.00 retail). Since I do not wear prescription glasses, I use the benefit to get a pair of riding glasses. I have had this benefit for 10 years and didn't realize I could do this until 2 years ago. I just pay a $10.00 copay and walk away with a new pair of Wiley X... which reminds me, new fiscal year July 1. Hmmm.

I stopped using polarized because it is hard to read my stereo and GPS readouts.

However they are called Oakley "Wind Jackets" They are the "Split Jackets" with a removable snap in wind gaskets that make a protective seal and minimize air flow over your eyes. They work like a charm, come with two sets of lenses, (clear for night, dark grey for sun), and when not riding just pop out the gasket and you have your regular sunglasses. I won't ride without them. Also you have multiple lens choices if you want to switch colors, or replace old ones. You also have the Oakley warranty backing them. If your a LEO or Military you can also get a set for a substantial (50%) discount through Oakley's "Standard Issue" program.

I like The Original KD's and they are $10 each. Work just fine for me and they keep the wind out of my eyes. http://www.pacificcoastsunglasses.co...Ds/products/1/

I have a pair Wiley's and a couple pair of 19 dollar Ryders. I dont go too crazy over the riding glasses. I have a bud that I ride with some that must have a eye glass fetish. Buys a freaking pair everywhere we go it seems.

How do you get Wiley X from the eye doctor, they don't carry them do they?

It took me a couple weeks of hummin and hawwin before I dropped 130 on my Oakley EyePatch glasses, there excellent for riding, but I rarely use them while riding because I dont wanna mess em up. I just rock some cheap-os with a foam gasket.
