@John CC I have a Hot bikes of Southern Oregon tensioner here that I had in a bike but pulled before I sold it. I'd say it has 300 miles on it. If you want it, $100 shipped. I've done primary chain tensioners in quite a few bikes over the years. In the past I always used the S/E tensioner that doesn't need to be adjusted as I started these mods prior to Moco coming out with the auto tensioners on all bikes. I found with the auto tensioner it works great (never had an inner primary bearing issue as many here state as a concern) however the shoe tends to wear a bit more quickly due to the pressure on it. Never touched a Hayden after reading about issues on here and people having to keep opening their primary and add more shims. I want a set it and forget it option, not something that needs to be messed with constantly. I want to remove the primary cover once or twice, not weekly.
Whatever you choose, good luck but I gotta say, all this device does is hold the primary chain tight enough so taht it doe not rattle. Often times with this kind of stuff, simpler is better.
