Default Avon Grips

I have been looking at the Air cushion type grips by Avon. Have any of you used them or are using them and what do you think about the quality, comfort and wear characteristics of them.Thanks.

I have always run kuryakyn iso grips. This bike i decided to try the avon grips. I like em. The iso grips were softer. These have grip as uposed to the iso grips are smooth rubber.

Have them on my RKC and like them much better than the Kuryakyn ISO grips I had on my Heritage.

I love mine but they are starting to wear smooth after just one year.

Put a set on 3 years ago/25000 miles and no problem and little sign of wear. At that time the metal parts were billet with great chrome and I believe they had replacement for the rubber if ever needed.

I've had mine on for about 4 months and I like them. I lke the rougher cushions on the Avons. I like the throttle boss on the Kury's better though. The edge is a little sharper on the Avons.

I ran avons on my fat boy. Loved them.

Never ran the iso's but thinking about trying them next time.

Avons can come with the throttle buddy nub also.

Used them both. Had Avons for about a year but the clutch side went smooth. Sending them to Avon with $20 and the rubber will be replaced on both.
Now using Kuryakyn which are softer and smoother and have more vibration-eliminating cushion.
Both are great grips.

Avon now has a version of those that are called "velvet air". supposed to be softer than the ones with the nubs. Went with the HD nostalgic ones myself.
