I had a pair of these this past summer. We experienced the same problems as boat wake. Not only that but after about 50mph they were virtually unitelligable. I returned them and got a second pair hoping the first pair were defective. No luck, smae issues with the second pair. Never could get them to work. I returned them and went with Cardo. No problems with these.
