Jackpot exhaust
i picked up a 2012 street glide, and the first thing i noticed was that it sounds like a honda, the stock exhaust has to go and i mean right now, so i talked to my salesman, bill says that jackpot has a great sound, so i talked to the service manager at twin cities north. clayton says that the jackpots are the way to go, low tone untill you get on it then bark nicely, so i took his word for it and had them put on the jackpot header and 4" mufflers,i also did the heavy breather and se tuner with smart tune, i dropped the bike off on wed to have that stuff done, get a call on thurs morning there is a problem with one of the 0/2 bungs the threads are buggered and they screwed up one of the 0/2 sensors threading it in,i'm like great here we go another aftermarket part that seems to be a problem, they got another header pipe and one of them was bad also, they got ahold of a 12mm tap and chased the threads but i still had to wait for an 0/2 sensor that they had to overnite from faribault, needless to say i had to wait till fri am to get my bike back,so now i think maybe i should have went with vance and hines,i have true duals with the twin ovals on my 06 sg i have to admit makes the harley sound like a harley. but does get old at highway speeds and areas that have noise ordinances, well picked up the bike at 12:30 today, all i can say is wow the jackpots sound awesome, low rumble at idle but bark on the throttle, i can even go to stillwater now, since the local law enforcment are pipe ****'s, if you guys want your bike to sound like a harley and not a honda lol.take a listen to the jackpots, they are in the middle of stock and drag pipes, if anyone in the mpls area wants to hear them get ahold of me, i'd be glad to let you listen to both bikes i might have to check fuelmoto's to see if they have header pipes for my 06
If your still have the catalyst which is like having an internal baffle, the Jackpots will sounds very nice and many pipes will sound good also. With the cat out they are noticeably louder. Although I like the heat diff after removing it, I don't enjoy the decibel diff they make in the sound.
