06 flhx cutting out

06 flhx cutting out
My 06 flhx seems to burp or even cut out after it warms up and I go to take off. Not sure if the cam tensioner has been replaced since it has 35,000 miles on it and I just bought the bike 2 weeks ago with 33,000 miles on it. It also will burp a little when I take off from a stop light.
I was told the cam tensioners need replaced at 30,000 but dont know if previous owner did so. The bike has about $4,000.00 in extras so I can only assume the guy took care of the bike in all ways.
Any advice is helpfull please?

If not mistaken the manual says to check the tensioners at 40,000. They may not even need to be replaced if they're ok. The only thing I've heard about the tensioners going out is getting the plastic in the oil pump and gumming it up and losing oil pressure.

Throwing $4,000 in extras at a bike doesn't mean anything.
