Bike wouldn't start
Ok,3weeks ago,I rode 5 miles and got gas.After refueling she wouldn't start.The check engine light proved out,but no fuel pump.I pulled the side cover and checked the fuel pump fuse and main fuse-ok.Tried again and it fired right up.Rode home and checked the codes-none.I think when I pulled the main fuse it must have cleared them.So on to today.Took a short 60 mile ride this morning.Went out to take another spin a couple hours later and it wouldn't start again.Cranked over but no fuel pump.Checked the codes again and found p1003 system relay contacts open.Swapped relays around and wiggled some wiring.Nothing.After about 10 minutes it started.Any ideas?I do need to have the voltage regulator changed out,but it has not caused me any trouble yet.Could it cause this issue?I am gonna go and check the grounds,but other than that I am not sure.Thanks guys.
