Note for some of you considering adding the street glide fascia to your fender. Yes there are a few parts required (brackets, screws, and a light kit) to add this piece and they are minimal. There are two avenues to attach this. The instructions call for six holes to be drilled on the rear fender. Others have had success with auto tape, which personally, is more attractive than screwing (ahem) up a hole in a fender or having the drill bit "wander" in to other areas of paint. This leads me to the next point: if your bike has a light or a fender tip, chances are, you are going to have pre-existing holes at the bottom of the fender that the facia will not cover. Meaning: you are either going to have to fill and repaint the fender or buy a new fender to add this piece. The piece looks great and the street glide has the best looking a$$ end of any HD, but for all of you that have a RKC and other models where tips and/or lights are on the fender, there may be added cost of paint or fender work. Just food for thought.
