Default Sidewall cracking again

Just returned from a 1600 mile trip from N. Ga. and NC. Front right side wall cracking again on replaced tire. First tire build date was 4611, 2nd tire 0712. Total miles on bike is 4500. Back to dealer tomorrow.

Just out of curiosity does your bike sit out in the sun all day?

The tire is 3 weeks old. It sits in a garage with a cover on it!

That's nuts! Never heard of such a thing. Wonder what the heck country those tires are being sourced from. Bad batch of rubber trees? Bad compound mix? New formula? Could be a recall on the way if that's the case.

Help to know what brand tire you are talking about.

Storing the bike near an ozone generating motor (electric)?

Some tires aren't made for hot weather.

Finally someone else with the same problem. I've had 3 tires replaced on the front of my 2010 street glide. Just had one put on in May and its cracked worse than the one they took off....out of base warranty now not sure how to proceed.

Nothing dramatic about the way I ride or where I park the bike. There are quite a few people on the forum complaining about their '12 touring Dunlops(front) but you are the first '10 I have heard about. When it was posted on the forum last month I went out and checked mine and sure enough it was cracking all the way around on the right side...same with my replacement tire. It's reassuring to know you aren't the only one...I guess
