We sell a ton of Liquid Horsepower, but IMHO there is no reason/benefit for using it if your bike doesn't ping on pump gas.

Never use it. +1 for the highest grade offered at whatever station I am at. Have run everything from 87 to 93 with no problem. Seems like a waste of money.

Guess I'll make sure to not plan a trip out west then. I get a little ping on 93.

this is pretty much my story too. i'd say 90% of the time is 91 though.

Finally someone who understands the ludicrousness of this thread. Octane does not come, is not available, and will not ever come in an additive form that you can buy and pour in your tank. . Not in a bottle on the counter of a HD dealership, or a gas station, or on line.

its all crap, octane levels are made at the refinerys thru the distillation process of crude oil.it really olny makes a difference to the guy who sells it and he put that difference in the bank.if you live near a race track or private airfeild you should be able to find 100+ octane a 50 50 mix with 91 octane would put you about 96-97 octane but now you have heat problems.91 or 93 for me has always been fine

If your bike is pinging with 93 octane you might want to check it out cause you got something else going on beside octane level.I have a street rod that has a blower motor in it and it runs just fine on Sunoco 91 or 93 . Octane boost in a little bottle is total worthless however if you think it makes a difference then go for it it's your money.but he'll will freeze over before I pay $5.00 for a little bottle of snake oil.

Never needed it. Runs fine on 91 and has even had 85 octane in it. Yes we have 85 octane here in Nv.
