I have a 09 SG with true duals with cvo mufflers. I don't know who made the true duals but should I change to a 2 into 1 into 2 header system? Or is the true duals the best performance and sound option?

That's a loaded question .... Performance wise you'll get better numbers with a 2 Into 1 System, aesthetically speaking, True Duals really set off the scooter ( In my opinion, and I guess that 's what you're asking for? ) ... Then consider a 2 Into 1 Into 2 ( like the current MOCO systems ) for the best sound regarding smoothing out the pulses ( potato, potato ) ... So, is it as clear as mud now?

 

I was wondering because I was under the impression true duals are the way to go. The exhaust was already on the bike at the time of purchase. The other reason I ask is because I was at a.dealership and we were talking performance... when I told him I had true duals, he looked at me like I was crazy and said why would they do that? Lol. Now this person is very knowledgeable... so... Don't get me wrong, I love the look of the true duals. I do know that having the exhausts connected does help, at least in cars anyway.
