My cousin and I will be leaving Omaha early Monday Morning if anyone is passing through and wants to join. We haven't nailed down our route yet, but I prefer to head through Nebraska and hit backroads up North of Grand Island. We set a good pace, 6 speed trannys not required, but we are usually waiting on anyone with a 5 speed when we stop to get gas.
Heading out bright and early tomorrow morning as well. We'll be packing like mad man tonight. :-) We'll be spending tomorrow night in Pierre and then heading into Sturgis in the morning. Should be fun....
Just returned from a 21 day ride, that included Sturgis and all of the surrounding area. Intentionally, I went before the big crowds. I'm not a fan of big crowds, long lines and inflated prices. It was a great place to ride around and explore.
