Heading out from upstate NY with a group of seven. All Sturgis virgins.
Four of the group are on the road now staying in Fredonia, NY tonight..south of Buffalo. I'm heading out at 5am friday with the remainder of the group and we will all meet up in Fredonia. Should be in Sturgis on Sunday afternoon. We're staying at a house in Spearfish. Heading back home on the next Friday.
the ride out and stay there will be a blast. The trip back may not be..at least for some. I'm trying to talk them all into visiting the HD Museum in Milwaukee on that Saturday back. I figured it would break up the trip back, don't know if the rest of the group will go for it.
Heading to the Black Hills on Aug 28, done the Sturgis thing eight times and want to take the new wifey to see the area, not as crowded then and the t-shirts are cheaper...LOL
Heading out with a buddy next Thursday....hoping to complete another Iron Butt (1000 miles in less than 24 hours), then arriving in Spearfish by 4pm Friday. My third trip. Rode from Atlanta by myself last year and met my buddies in Deadwood. Ended up being a 5600 mile trip and it was a blast. We're going to be gone for 12 days, hitting Beartooth Pass, Yellowstone, and a really twisted route through Colorado. Should be a GREAT trip.
Everyone ride safe......stay hydrated......and watch for cages................
