Default Trask turbo anyone??
Posted this in the turbo section as well...thinking of adding a trask turbo to my 11 flhx. Anyone have one?? Opinions???

it costs as much as a procharger.....procharger has a much cleaner billet look.....performance between the two is probally subjective.

I have read fuel mileage is significantly less with the procharger...also it is recommended you beef up the motor?? Trask advertises the turbo as a stock bolt on. Wondering if anyone had done this...issues down the road??

So how much of a horsepower increase do these aftermarket turbos kick in?

I think you should talk to Frank Drago. He seems to be an expert on the forced induction harleys.

Not to be a smartass but performance and gas mileage dont go hand in hand.My procharged 107" boasts 205hp/165tq and it gets 25mpgcity/34highway,I dont think thats too bad.But like I say there's a gas station at every corner.

Trask advertises 120 hp 125 tq with a stock motor. very little decrease in fuel mileage. Not going to race the bike. 120 hp would be perfect for me...and keep the fuel mileage. Just wondering if what trask advertises is true...if any one has actual experience.

+1 my Procharged 120R averages about 25 MPG, but I also ride the bike like a "bat out of hell". Give Frank Drago a call!
