I recently picked up a 2000 road king and when I got the keys there was also a small gold Harley key included. I, for the life of me, cannot find where it goes. I have looked in the manual to see if maybe th key was for a helmet lock but wasn't able to find anything. Sorry I don't have a picture of the key but was hoping someone might be able to help me identify what the key might be for.
Yupp that's it. Now are these hard mounted on the bikes or are they removeable? Because I cannot find one anywhere on the bike so it looks like the guy might have forgotten to turn the lock in also.

Thanks for the help guys!!
The helmet lock is held on with 2 screws. I put mine on the left engine guard with the security screws, but removed them with an easy-out when I decided to move it to the right guards to make room for highway pegs.
So you might as well throw that key out, if you can't find the lock on the bike now. If you put a helmet lock on just go to the hardware store and buy allen screws so you can move it when you want.
