I know lots of people who used them, do't worry they work great.

I used ones like that for several months. Mine have two holes I think. First hole is 1" lower (stock Street Glide height) and the other 2" lower. I used them on the first hole. Works fine, but I got tired of dragging stuff. Mostly floorboards, but also the back of the mufflers on occasion. I took them back off. Good (cheap) way to decide if you want shorter shocks though. I think I still have them. PM an offer if you want them.

Stay away from those cheap lowering blocks on EBay. They change the angle of shock travel and over time will ruin the seals in your shocks.

I have them on my 06 RKC. First setting isn't much of a difference. Second setting is noticeable. Third and lowest drop looks awesome but will destroy your wiring harness by causing the tire to rub the fender, scrape everything on the ground and bottom you out.

#2 for me for a couple years with no problems

I'm running them on my 01 EGS. Mine have 2 holes. 1" and 2". I also have the SG shocks on it. I don't have any problems running it lowered all the way. 3" lower than stock in the rear. I do raise it up one notch if I'm loaded and 2up. With the wife on and mostly empty bags it's fine all the way down. No drop in the front. I do scrape the boards more now but I like them. If you're questioning the integrity of the brackets I have a set on my *ahem* Honda that have given me thousands of trouble free miles as well.

Another vote here. I have the 2 hole model. I don't have any issues riding solo.

I installed this in 30 min. You have everything you need to put them on. Just be careful and think...
Second hole is 2". I think it should be enough. But keep in mind when you climb or descend the road-side that you are lower than before. I did not and I also had to change the kickstand's spring too, if you know what I mean. Good luck!
