Best you just do bearings and spacers. I made these from SS and used the alternate bearings. I think Harley part man can even fix you up.
Bearings are WJB Bearings Inc A 52mm OD, 3/4 in ID Wheel Bearing is P/N DH559339
Info update on these WJB Bearings.

I changed the wheel to 1" bearings and spacers, when I modified an older wheel to fit my 07. You will need to bore out the center of the hub to 1 5/16" (1.312) with a step drill bit. This will allow the internal spacer to fit thru the hub. The area that you drill out is aluminum and not a bearing surface, so a hand drill did the trick. Good luck!
The wheel i have is a 19" HD thunderstar with older style tapered bearings, the OD is roughly 1.75", the newer style sealed bearings are approx. 2". unfortunately swapping bearings isn't an option, i would have to open up the bearing seat as well as the center of the hub.
try vulcan machine works, hemade me an axle to put a wide glide front end on a superglide about 7 years ago and he is still in business. he make some nice stuff
Freshly machined axle and rotor spacer from my neighbors Father-in-law. this guy knows his stuff!!! Dropped them off at lunch last Thursday and they were waiting for me at my door when i got home. "delivered even".

Nice looking job. These tappered roller bearings on the older wheels throw me ever time. Did he make the spacer bushing that appears to be in the brake rotor?

A very common tappered bearing is the LM11949 inner race with a .750 bore, and a .655 width. The outer race is 3.265 with a .650 width.
Appears that thru the years I see at least 3 other tappered bearings specs for Harley's. One as amall as 1.773 on the outer race.

I bought the spacer used which was the correct thickness i needed althought the shoulder where the brake rotor sits was a larger diameter than my rotor, so i had that shoulder milled down. i believe the tapered bearings i have, are probably as you stated 1.773. when i measured them with my primitive ruler it was roughly 1-3/4".
