yes it will fit, BUT the O2 sensors are not the same. 2009 had 18mm O2 sensors, 2010 and later are 12mm sensors. I went with 09 head pipes, so I could use the auto tune set up for my power commander. I have a 09 head pipe if you are interested.
Yes but O2 sensor placement and size are different. Cut yours open, remove cat, and reweld. Or go to ebay there's a place that does it for a hundred bucks. They swap pipes with you for one already done. $150 plus shipping ($25) and they credit you back $50 when you send them your pipe (return freight included in the $25 shipping). Wild Pig Pipes is the heading on the ad.
..or just get bung adapters from nightrider.com or just about any muffler shop.
allows 12mm sensor on a 18mm header
the spacing of the 09 49 State* style header has the o2 sensors somewhat more isolated from each other.
some riders suggest that in a "de-catted" '10+ header, each of the 2 sensors may get spurious readings affected by the other cylinder-
I have no experience with this ( 'cause my newest bike is an 09) but can see where this may occur at specific RPMs determined by the movement of pulse waves in the exhaust tract. these waves are influenced by rpm, muffler design and cam profile/timing, so will vary from bike to bike unless identical
Personally running an aftermarket pipe but thought I would mention many places like Phat Performance also sell bungs that can be welded into the collector of an '09 head pipe. They also have plugs for the earlier model sensor bungs. Can't speak to the cross talk between sensors.
