It's always well to keep in mind some people--myself included at times--make statements that are based on personal opinion, couched in terms of absolute 'fact'. Perhaps we do so because our 'opinions' live as 'facts' in our personal universes.
Everyone has an opinion, and is entitled to such. The First Amendment here in the U.S.A. allows us to express these opinions, within certain limits. But in terms of physics (which is ultimately the basis of what we're discussing here) 'truth' is not dictated by consensus, or opinion, but follows the result established by natural laws.
