I had great luck with Clearview and there post sale customer service is top notch. I bought a 17" recurve and it worked exactly as promised. 5 months later it developed some small spider web cracking around one of the bolt holes. I emailed them a picture and they sent me a new one straight away. Yes, you got to wait a bit to get them but it is a quality product with a good warranty behind it. Good enough for me.
Took a while to get one towards the end of the season, but once they got back from Sturgis, I received mine pronto. I changed my order mid-stream to a light smoked version with recurve and had no problems with them changing the order. They called with a follow up after I received the shield. Good stuff, I wouldn't go with anyone else, based on my experience. I think the number of positive posts makes the negative look troll like.
I've bought from Clearview. Their business model is make to order so their stuff can take a long time. My tip is to browse their blemish/clearance section. I bought a 2" recurve for my RKC and got it right away. I could barely spot the blemish.
As to whether they "work" that is totally rider preference. I'm Ok with mine but I've had bikes that I never could get any shield to do what I wanted.
I had the Clearview on a Yahama abd I liked it very much. I liked the vent in front also. Very good shield. Doesn't get scratched as easy either. You can't go wrong with Clearview
Both Fast Aire and LRS are better shields and both companies are better companies to deal with. Clearview does not deal in good faith. They admittedly sent me a defective shield hoping I would not notice just so they could save one dollar. When I called them on it they did offer to send the $1 part but I refused. I do not do business with companies that knowingly and intentionally try to deceive me. They refused to refund the money so I went through my credit card company to reclaim the money. I cannot and will not recommend them to anyone.
Not even close to my experience with them...good quality, good performance, good customer service, great pricing.........
Sounds like you're just a dick......................

Complete opposite of my experience too.
I have 2 Clearview shields one 6.5" with recurve, and one 8" with recurve. Both are high quality shields, and I received them quickly. Super nice folks. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat.
DIRECT 180 from me...long story short, I emailed them about a shield for my RKC and they promptly returned with information. I was traveling from Sturgis last week and detoured to Pine, CO; home of Clearview. Met with Mark and Craig, got a tour of facility, saw first hand how the shields were made.
They offered me a new 'perfect' shield or the opportunity to buy a 'blem'. After searching through several blems, I bought a light smoked 18" recurve. The blem fell under the metal strips on the shield so it was great. Great service, product, and guys to deal with. Would buy again without question.
This is Mark, with Clearview. I'm baffled by this disgruntled post as I handle the Customer Service. There must be some misunderstanding as, being in business for 26 years, customer service is of utmost importance to us. I don't recall a disagreement or dispute over $1.00, but would welcome a phone call from this customer to that I can solve the problem. I'll hope for a call or email soon...

Between now and then, ride safe everyone.
ClearView's da bomb. My CV shield is a thousand times better than the POS stock HD shield that came with the bike. I found the company easy to deal with. Had no issues. I remember speaking with them on the phone, emailing them a couple times, then did the transaction and my shield showed up when I expected it.
I give Clearview my full endorsement. They have a great product and I had no issues with it or them.
I sure like my clearview recurve. Picked up a blem at their tent at the denver show and swap in January 2 and a half years ago. Can't see the blems. Seemed to be good people when I talked to them.
