Ok I have an 04 electra glide and looking at getting new seat and exhaust. What seats will fit my bike off anther models? Exhaust I'm looking for that signature Harley sound. I have stock pipes still on it now. I'm going to be going with the street glide look. Any help in achieving this is greatly appreciated

i think pretty much any seat from the touring bike family will fit yours. I personally like the Le Pera Daytona Two-Up Smooth Seat LH-567. Had this for years on my '89 FLHTCU and now on my '07 FLHTC. both of which i de-cluttered to a street glide look. i have the Kuryakan Krushers on my '07. not obnoxiously loud, but a real nice "Harley" sound.

I have a 99 EG, 99 to 07 will fit, I changed mine also. If you want that sound you should go true duals, it does away with the y pipe on the rear cylinder so each cylinder has its own pipe. I bought the fulsac true duals kit, worked great and was less the $200, my bike already had Vance & Hines slip ons, the true duals gave it a much better sound, that nice Harley sound.

If you can be patient usually you can pick up a set of slip-ons here as well as a seat in the classifieds. I have saved quite a bit of $$ in the classified section. Just be aware of what fits your model. Alot of great people here.

Thanks guys ya I have been scoping out the classifieds already. I already have the true duals on it with stock pipes sorry I need to fill out my sig. The guy that had it before me was an older man and he didn't ride much it's an 04 with 14k on it he bought it new. I'm looking to stay under $300 on the pipes if I can find them used. But like its been said I have to know what fits my bike and this is my first harley. If any of y'all Ned to know anything about a diesel truck let me know. Lol thanks again

Corbin makes a great seat , Exhaust ... I would wait and try and listen to a few before jumping in. Review the threads on this forum. A lot of exhaust sounds good at idle and low RPM but has a irritating note to some at highway speed. Personally I like my Vance and Hines 2-1 Pro Pipe.

A good looking & generally comfortable seat for a 04 is a stock '00-07 RoadGlide seat. Its a direct swap. A set of good slip ons will give decent sound improvement. Sound is a personal choice, I like the quieter Monster Rounds vs the Rineharts. Check Craigslist in your city.
