I have my Mustang seat on Ebay for sale.. Do a search 79127. It came off my 03 RG and I believe it will fit (verify with Mustang). I have it on with the backrest and passenger seat for a decent deal, I think..
Cummins, I have an 04 EG also. I hav had four different seats and the Harley Sundowner is the seat for me. I am taller (6'2") and the sundowner gave me stock hight but moved me back from 1/2" to a full inch.
I have a 95" big bore kit with Rhinehart true duals and 3 1/2" pipes and love the sound!
Go to some bike shows/rallys and just listen to the bikes as they ride through. When you find one you like, track down the owner and ask him what he is running. I haven't found a biker yet that didn't like to talk about his bike.
I'm running Screamin' Eagle pipes on my 04..Nice rumble coming and going from the house but wake up when you hit the throttle...Also have Stage 1 and i think it works Great with pipes.I also have the Sundowner seat and love it.I'm 6'0 and 220.Keep in mind that with seats that the E-Glide and Road Glide have a long nose and the Kings have a short nose.If you find a seat that you like off a King,HD makes a spacer that fits between tank and seat so you dont have a space.Part #52447-96
Good luck on your search.I think the 04 is a good year!!!
Haha thanks madirish I know all about the forums im a member on 5 others as well but no HD forums though. Honestly I have not had time to use the great search feature home remodeling takes up alot of time.
Thanks guys for all the info you have provided hopefully the rain will hold off and I can go to bike night tomorrow and hear some exhaust.
