It's turned out to be a beautiful day here and 39 degrees so I decided to slip off from work and ride the bike back.
On the way back about 2 miles from the house I get to the intersection of the state road that leads into town. WTF!!! TDOT has come by and sprayed slick and salty brine all over the f****ing place. The d*** road looks like the top of a margarita glass! We'll I'm not driving thru that **** so back home I go. I swear these guys are the ones who would wear a rubber to a date.
Here's a good one for you, I was riding to work one morning traffic was moving but steady..
I was watching a cager that wasn't waching Shi*, I look back to the road and I'm right upon
a spilled load of LIQUID LIME..This stuff was 3 inches thickI didn't go down but the crap
turned a black aspencade completly white including ME..
I was PO'ed, took the whole day to clean that bike up, and to top it off
I was being laughed at all the way home.. and the wife thought that was funny too!!..
(Now that I think of it, it was kinda funny)
But, been there done that...
Good thing you saw it before you were in it...

In my younger days I considered my CB650C as a dual purpose and a friend on mine had never seen the old Camp Forrest that was here in WWII so I took him out and showed him mainly old concrete roads and foundations. On the way out we were on a road that was covered in mud. I was about 99% of the way thru it when he said this looks slip....pery and the rest was history. Didn't hurt the bike but we looked as if we had been wrestling pigs. I told him to shut the f*** up until we got home.
same thing happen to me yesterday. 39/sunny cruising down the interstate and suddenly the road looked like an ice rink. off the next exit and backroad it home. for all the preaching pa does about safety you owuld think they would hold off on that s***** till it is going to snow for sure. back roads for rest of winter now around here. that **** beats up chrome and paint. should've moved south!!!!!!!!!!!!!
