Default Damn Secada Bug!

So last night I took the bags off....the seat off...the side covers off....and the football air cleaner cover off. I gave the bike a good cleaning....I got all of the road dust off of everything. So I go to put everything back together and then I get to the AC cover. I put my Willie G. Skull medallion on the the AC just to see if I liked the look. The stock AC cover was on my rolling stool. I heard a secada bug come flying in the garage. It sounded like an Appache helicopter. The damn thing flew right into the cover. It was turned upside down like a bowl.....it flopped around in it and crashing to the concrete floor it went. I bounced a few times before I could process WTF just happened. The damage done....some nice gouges in the chrome and some secada bug guts on the sole of my sandal! So now I have to leave it this way for a while....I was thinking maybe the round AC cover....who knows....

depending on your year/model bike you may want the football cover- it hides the throttle body connector on the TBW models.

and can be found cheap as a take off from the "upgrading riders", like $10 or so.

Mike

ps "Cicada".....Jon Secada is the pop singer

They really suck when you hit one...with your face...at 60mph.

We are having a huge problem with Japanese Beetles and riding the other day it was someone was throwing gravel at my windshield...

I was swatting at a sacada in my shop a couple of nights ago with my ball cap and hit one of the bulbs in my 8' high output fluorescent lights. It exploded and glass went everywhere so I spent the next 30 minutes cleaning up the mess. It was one of those "I knew better" moments.
