maybe it is metric volts ?

ok sorry.

I would suggest that you approach the issue with the dealer this way:

"The regulator was weak, it was a problem- it was replaced, Thank You for standing behind the product and the aftersale service.

It is now apparent that the battery has lost rated capacity due the the charging system problems- I would like the battery checked the ensure that it is operating a full rated capacity ( and they will be able to give you a print out of the test- which you keep)

If the battery is not functioning properly, then it is evident that the problems with the supplied charging system have damaged the battery and I would like it replaced."

also: you should have HOG membership and it's free included basic road side assistance- there is an upgrade to unlimited towing to the nearest dealer ( in the US it costs us $20)--- if the battery becomes a problem just start calling the 800 number. After a few service calls, that gets expensive for HD not to offer a permanent fix.

When a battery is discharged to "0" it looses about 50% of it's rated capacity- and is never the same again.

If your charging system problem allowed the battery to be under charged, it may have lost capacity

b.) IF the battery is damaged or weak etc. It may stress the charging system to the point where damage is caused to the regulator or stator- which gets expensive.
