I currently have the J&M 500W amp and stock HK headunit. The amp input switch is set to high.
I am changing headunits, putting in a Sony marine from biketronics, the Sony headunit has RCA outs to the amp. Should I use the RCA outs to the amp instead of the speaker wire outs to the amp like the HK unit without RCA's use.
If I use the speaker wire outs to the amp I know the amp input switch will stay set on High. If I use the RCA outs from the Sony to the amp do I need to set the amp input switch to LOW?
Is there a benifit to using the RCA's out of the Sony to the amp over using the speaker wire outs from the Sony to the Amp?
Moneywoes you'll enjoy that new HU with Biketronics control module! With the new HU I picked up Bluetooth, HD radio & USB Ipod controls. It is was like why didn't I do this a long time ago !
