Hey Fortyfun I have the airhawk seat I bought it from JP cycles acc I found it on this forum I have a police model road king I changed the seat to a comfort stitch with a back rest. My mechanic warned me I would be lower on the bike because he had to take the shock out. He was right my legs went to sleep I am 6/5 so I bought the seat. What the tricky part is is to find the right pressure you do not want to fill it up all the way. It works good for me.When I have a xtra 1000 dollars I will have the seat rebuilt. try that you want the air to move between those baffles.

4 or 5 pumps of air is all that i put in mine. The 7 pumps they recommend as a starting point was to much for me.

Default Danny Gray seat

I was out in Sturgis this year for the first time. When I saw the Danny Gray tent I went over to look. I saw the new solo seat with the air hawk insert in it with the stiching. We put in on the bike and it sat great. I bought it on the spot. It sat lower than my C&C fast back that I love. I wanted a a solo seat and the Danny Gray had a good amount of back support and as I said sat great. Unfortunately after about 50 miles it didn't feel so good. I played with the air and never did get it right so much to my dismay it went back. Great looking girl at the tent though. It was worth the the return just to see her again!!!!!

No, I am not using too much air. I read instructions and forums first and also tried various tricks during long rides, including waiting to use it until later. Fact is, it didn't help ME. Caused hot spots. Not giving up and selling for loss yet tho. One more trip...

Talk to Mean City Cycles, my memory foam seat from them makes for nice long riding days. My ol' lady does 700 miles and never once says anything about her a$$ hurting. Of course, we're in our fifties so maybe the knee and ankle aches and pains from sitting that long mask the a$$ pain.

I have 5 seats in my garage and an airhawk 2. I can make it 60 miles before I need to get off and walk. Oh well, if you find one that works let me know.

I have the Airhawk LongHaul (integrated AirHawk) seat and don't put much air in it. I'm loving it so far, longest day though is about 250. It's gotten more comfortable the longer I have it.

Thanks everyone for your input, Im gonna give this seat another week or two, If it does not get any better I will trade it for a regular big seat with jell. There has to be a seat out there that sits like the stock one but way more comfortable !!

I saw this new seat butt i am not sure i would want it...I have a Sundowner and a circulator pad and it is way more comfotable than the Airhawk pad....I have never had a Danny Gray seat, they look good but never looked like Touring seat to me...to each their own though...if it didn't work good on a trip it probably wont do on another one.
