Default calling all cam experts

is a cam with a 575 lift too high for a 103 that is stock including heads?

It really depends on the ramp angles of the cam and the year of the heads. The newer heads have some really good springs. If you think about the TW-777, TW-7H or something like that, usually the springs are good. If you are asking about a 103 engine, I'm going to assume its a later model with the better springs.

It is probably best though to look at the cam manufacturer's recommendations or talk with your engine builder or parts supplier.

TMan is offering a 600 Supermax cam for stock heads/springs that sports .600 lift. I've had very good results with Tman cams but I have not ran this particular cam in anything yet. Call him up and pick his brain...
