Default 05 FLHT Lower vented fairing question

I just bought a vented fairing set off of e-bay from a 12 Ultra.

Excited, I got them out of the packaging, hauled *** to the garage to install them on the scoot and WTF…… they don’t fit. Now, I am a mechanical/technical person, but they are not going to install on the engine guard that is on my bike.

What I don’t know is.. the part number of the guard is that is on my bike ( pretty sure it is not stock, it is also black. I also don’t know of the part number of the guard I need to find.

My parts manual lists the engine guard as 49184-97

The Harley web site description for these fairing is as follows: Fits '83-later Touring and Trike models (except '98-'09 FLTR). Stock on FLHTCU, FLHTK and FLHTCUTG. Models without Engine Guard will require the installation of Engine Guard P/N 49066-09 or 49050-09, Screw P/N 4924 (2), Washer P/N 2708A (1). Will not fit the Mustache Engine Guards. Does not fit with Front Fender Adapter Kit 59013-02A.

So, what part number do I need to order
49184-97 or 49066-09 ?

Search any one of these part numbers on Harley site and I get nothing.
The 49066-09 on google and just fin
Are the bars specific for lower fairings?

I understand that an 09-13 is a differennt frame, and these model years will have a different part number of bar that I can not use.
I would prefer to change it to a chrome one instead of the black….
Thanks for any help and or clarification.
