I have been trying to decide between the 95" or 98" BBK. I'm looking at $2,500 total to go with the 98", gears cams and HQ to work my heads. Phil here has some nice results with this combo netting some impressive tq numbers starting at 2400 rpms.
Now if I go with a 95" kit, have bigboys port the heads and still go with the same HQ gear cam, I can get this all done for under $1,500 and still should hit 100/100 once tuned. I really can't justify spending an additional $1k for 10 more hp. It isn't worth it.
