I really like my VIEDs. Wasn't sure if I would screw with them too much but decided to spend the few extra $. It was worth it, I have been able to ride and make some adjustments that have the bike running exactly the way I want it. Steve is a great guy - if you have any questions give him a call, he will spend the time with you.

I look forward to installing my VIED's when I return to the States soon. And yes, Steve is great to deal with. In my haste to order the VIED's I accidently ordered the older version, not the FL-VIED's that my bike requires. No problem, contacted Steve and explained and he sent out the correct ones at no charge and asked me just to return the other set once I rotate back home.

Now that is service!

Just got my xieds from a member. Can't wait to test them out. If I should need to bring my 2012 sg to a dealer for whatever should I pull these off as to not void my warranty?

Thanks for the answer, that is kinda what I was thinking also. I think the X just means it is set at a fixed value.

has anyone come up with a good grounding spot instead of using the negative side of the battery.

I just installed a set of FL-XIED 10s on my 12 Softail Deluxe. I used the grounding point on the frame where the negative cable of the battery goes. On the front I grounded it on one of the regulator bolts. Exhaust sounds a little louder and I can put the bike in 6th at 45 and just roll the throttle on with no bucking or pinging. I only put 10 miles on it so far and plugs are still white; maybe I'll take a little trip today and check them after.
