Default Anyone had this issue?

I noticed today that the gas tank on my 03 EGlide is crooked. I did the engine/drivetrain alignment a while back so I rechecked it again today and it was dead on. Measured a couple points and I am sure it the tank. When sitting on the bike the front of the tank is pointing to the left. I am assuming I can try to bend the front mounting tabs to get it straight. Anyone dealt with this. Thanks

I'm not crooked and I don't have issues. I had a great childhood.

Bending the tabs could cause the paint to crack and peel. If it does, it will rust. I suppose it could be the tank but it seems more likely to be the forks or the bars. Where are you measuring to and from?

I'm thinkin' that if it took you a long time to notice ... odds are no one else will.

I thought that too on my '99 but turned out that when the bike was pointing straight, the fairing was off a little bit giving the illusion that the tank was off. I had to replace the fairing mount brackets when they broke so took time to make sure everything aligned before I started tightening everything.

Well to took all of your advice and didn't mess with the tank before further investigation. I did a hillbilly fix on my left inner fairing bracket a while back cuz I noticed it was broken and I think that threw my fairing off. I went out for a ride and watched closely. I found that if I rode with only my right hand on the bars everything seemed good. I measured the bars to the passenger grab rail studs and they are the problem. Didn't think bars would cause that but obviously they can. Thanks for the help!
